i think my my favorite part about being an artist is being simultaneously starved for approval and completely unsure what to do with approval when i get it.

George Herbert! The famed metaphysical poet of England, he was a pastor, the only book of poetry he produced is called "The Temple" -- which started out as personal reflections and he eventually pulled out all the English language poems and published them.
