A question I thought of earlier today: at the end of a class in high school or university, do/did you thank your instructors?

I’ve done so a few times for instructors who were particularly helpful. In high school I thanked my math teacher, in college my Japanese and a couple literature professors at the end of the last class I took with them.

Teachers are there to help us improve ourselves; though we often criticise those who fail, it’s a kind gesture to thank those who did succeed in helping us in some way.

Y’all aren’t looking like a very grateful bunch so far. That, or your formal education was even more dire than I’d have expected.
