correction: this seems to have happened during this period but not right when he says it did. During the Clinton campaign they swapped back and forth, and by Bush II they were fixed Rep-red, Dem-blue
don't really care to, to be honest. But if you want to you can research it yourself. I'm simply relating my anecdote on the subject, which contradicts his claim.

It wasn't an anecdote and it didn't contradict his claims. Your information showed the part of his statement related to the information provided by you, to be true.

This isn't an anecdote.https://twitter.com/gtaogle/status/1047570885224386560 …

It is. My claim is that I observed 1. colors switching during the Clinton campaigns (1992,1996) 2. colors only becoming fixed in the Bush II campaign (2000) Since it's pretty obvious what I'm saying, I'm going ask you directly: why are you misrepresenting me?

Guess what time periods above are post-Reagan? He said Pre and during Reagan,Red for Dem and blue for Rep. He said post Reagan, change occurred. You show changes occurring post Reagan and the change becoming permanent with W. This is why I said info from 58-80 would prove.

sorry man, all I did was relate what I observed and these folks are jumping all over me

(moreover, you'll observe that if I was affirming his timeline, he wouldn't have responded in the way that he did-- I think you're the one who is missing something here!)
-
He tells you changes were post Reagan, you offer limited information post Reagan showing changes, as he said. If showing earlier evidence from the time of color tv until Reagan + the info shows no/different pattern/s of color use than he claimed, you're right, if not he is.
-
No, he claimed it was a response to Reagan, I noted that I only noticed this change after the Clinton campaign (the blue/red was still fluid during that - 1992 &1996) and it only was fixed during the Bush II campaign. So it is an anecdote and does contradict his claim.
