That being said, I'm a feudalist and I don't really have a position in the present political system, as I don't vote. I tend to favor conservatives for the most part, simply because they tend to be on the correct side, but lack follow-through.

A good example is the response by many to the recent "hearings" given for a certain judicial nominee. The media complex has successfully made a particular judge look like a jerk, and they're afraid that he's really a criminal. They don't fully realize that the media isn't neutral

And cannot be expected to be! A quick look at the party affiliations of most media people should be information enough to indicate how one should behave; and recalling that their affiliation marks where they perceive their interests to be (I'm Unaffiliated.)

The main issue is concerning people with extreme views, left right and center. The problem with following extreme leftists is that even though I understand and share a number of views with them, I find them intolerable for obvious reasons.

For centrists, they're convinced that by sitting in the center they will come up with a compromise between two mutually exclusive positions. It can't happen, so they end up being huge distractions, and many times get called things like "N*zi" for free speech advocacy.

The centrists are definitely the most dangerous to be associated with, as they seem the least aware of the danger, they perceive their cause as logical and constitutional, and therefore think that the law is on their side. Important people do not listen to them!

As for those on the right, like those on the left, they have developed a level of toxicity that's almost intolerable. While it's probably true they grasp the nature of the world far better than those on the left, they haven't grokked that their "memes" work on themselves, too.

Anyway, while I think it's dishonest for people who use real names to demand everyone use real names -- that's just a power play -- I can understand those who do, not associating with those who don't.
