Here's something to ponder. Modern depictions of devils and demons (note: modern!) show them typically with horns and hooves. The horns and hooves shown are thought of as "goat", but the plain fact is, no predator has such horns and hooves.

for those who say "those are probably related to the relation of the devil to dragons", please note that actual horned dragons don't have horns like this. (Dragons are chimeras anyway, there are no hexapods among warm blooded reptiles.) pic: majestic horned lizard boipic.twitter.com/SeIbSNUmNB

I would think on the idea of depicting demons consistently as herbivorous animals a bit and wonder if there isn't a satanic agenda behind it. As for me, my dad had this painting hanging in his study and I contemplated it many times as a youth. These are your demons:pic.twitter.com/uDmtJryOJa

"bat wings are evil" another myth. Let's look at some bats hmm, odd. Those wings are arms. That makes demons hexapods too. Or, in other words, chimeras. Depicting them with an artistically consonant set of appendages is fundamentally wrong, people!pic.twitter.com/aw9oJTbr4e

All I can say is, someone either really loves or hates these guys (a Satyr and a Nymph)pic.twitter.com/0vp5HKBv52

Imagine thinking devils/demons look like this (and that "demonesses" are real things and not simulations) c'mon, people. You've been memed on.pic.twitter.com/KFvnuHY1cy

"but the japanese show demons with horns like this" bruh, the Japanese term we translate "demon" is not directly related to what the Christian world means when it says "demon". It could be closer to the Greek concept of "daemon" but is probably something more like "fey" (fairy)pic.twitter.com/HLgBf32zTx
