    I'm excited about these findings because 1) they show that ACLY is a mTORC2-sensitive AKT substrate and 2) demonstrate one of the clearest roles I've seen for ACLY phosphorylation in mediating effects of AKT signaling. ACLY-S455D rescues loss of AKT in brown adipogenesis.
