    First of all, I 😻 `xaringanExtra`! I am looking at the tachyons colors and can't help but think that the palette is rather limited. Is there a way to intercept a tachyon with a named R color and generate a proper css with the correct hex code?

    If you're a pkg dev considering start up messages, be careful & expect some push back. People were *very* upset about the core-js message. But that message showed up unexpectedly, often multiple times, when installing unrelated pkgs depending on core-js.

    About a year ago, the JavaScript dev of a core package used by *everything* added a console message asking for help finding a job. It did _not_ go over well. This message, OTOH, is topical and easy to suppress, and the package is specialized and loaded intentionally.

    A little {xaringan} and tip! Add this snippet to your slides.Rmd so you can hide the slide number for a particular slide. ```{css echo=FALSE} .hide-count .remark-slide-number { display: none; } ``` --- class: hide-count No slide count here!

    I do, I have a little CSS snippet just for this! .hide-count .remark-slide-number { display: none; } and then you add hide-count to the slide's class to get hide the count --- class: center middle hide-count no count on this slide!
