No one was actually outraged by "motherfucker," but some people had to pretend to be outraged by it, and then other people had to pretend to be outraged by the pretend outrage. Entire news cycles now are just exercises in weird, meta unreality.

How about we don’t cut off body parts from infants for no reason? If a man wants to get circumcised let him decide when he can, don’t make the decision for him when he can’t

I wonder if would have the same perspective if men preferred women who had medically unnecessary procedures done to them at infancy that affect how their genitals look so long as they aren't aware of any suffering. Not to mention the inherent heteronormativity here.

We could have spent $1.5 trillion on a well-earned raise for 47 million households by expanding the EITC but instead spent it on a tax plan that benefits corporations and the investor class. Remember that the next time Republicans claim that they stand for ordinary Americans.

Black Mirror: : A unique and twisted experience. An encounter like never before (or again). Black Mirror never fails to impress. Fionn Whitehead and Will Poulter are stupendous. I’ll be watching again, and again. Bizarre. Clever. Unpredictable. 8.0/10

China has built the world’s most extensive and sophisticated online censorship system. But how does it work? How do young workers who grew up with censored knowledge of the world know what to block? A rare look inside a censorship factory.

Anyone who pays homage to "The Breakfast Club" has at least my respect as someone I'd like to meet at a party. BTW, the video was either leaked by her campaign or the worst oppo research mind in history...

Note that the breaking point for Romney, which impelled him to take the heroic act of writing an op-ed, was the recent Trump foreign policy developments. Withdrawing troops violates the saintly sense of “national honor” that Romney will now tediously promote in the Senate
