Actually, it's not called Yiddish cuisine unless it comes from the E-M215 haplogroup. Otherwise, it's just sparkling Eastern European food.

I've lived in Asia and somewhat disagree. I always look for reviewers with Western names for Indian restaurants otherwise it will be bland and lame. South Asian names will be the owner's extended family.
Local reviewers of Asian/Euro food are fine. They know good pizza.
