We've all seen enough trash production from them I guess. People find it hard to forgive bad adaptations like Cowboy Bebop. And they've put out something to outrage everybody (chappelle, cuties, etc)

I had already forgotten about Cuties lol Though idk I think people willing to overlook a lot of shit if they are hooked on something. Once they aren't hooked anymore suddenly they want to criticize

I would have thought it was more about the state of streaming. Like Netflix used to have everything, now it only has some things, what they do have isn't always great, and they keep increasing the cost of it. People are blaming them for dropping the ball. But idk, maybe a combo.

I like plenty of their content to stay subscribed but the sheer volume of garbage definitely lowers my perception of their quality

I still have a lot of good will towards Netflix. Good UI, they basically perfected streaming, and they have a huge back catalog at this point. They put out a lot of trash, but still have regular hits. Also Cowboy Bebop would've been good if they'd called it something else.
