Knowing what product to build is so hard. What should I build? Should be saas because that model prints money. Helps if its consumer focused, that's my strength. Needs to be venture scale.

Even though the idea has been meme'd to the moon and back, I still credibly believe that the Personal CRM is an unsolved frontier in consumer software with venture scale. Primary competition is Apple's Contacts app and Gmail's contacts system.

Interesting. I think the problem with this is that for most people, a notion/airtable/excel type of solution is more than enough. Most people who are “power users” could just use a lite CRM tool for non work related stuff, but Im yet to come across someone who does this.

I think something like this could be pretty useful for those who need to do a lot of networking outside of work (for example, someone recruiting). What other use case can you think of? A NFC enabled tap to connect feature would be pretty sick.

A lot adults would use it for staying in touch w/ friends + reminders to reach out every few months, try to grab a drink, etc... It sounds sickly formulaic to some people, but actively maintaining friendships in adulthood is hard. The even meme-ier use case is dating prospects.

I agree its hard to keep in touch with folks as you get older (and busier). If there’s a real market for this, my worry is if this would be fit to be a standalone product. Facebook/Twitter could add this pretty easily.
