I have a friend who tried this at university and he got a ticket for wrongfully displaying a parking ticket + a ticket for illegally parking

I don't know who needs to hear this but keep a parking ticket in your car for when you have to park illegally, then you can just put it under the windshield wiper so the parking enforcement guy will think you already got a ticket and will pass over you
