The available tools to automatically generate OpenAPI documentation from network traffic are surprisingly thin and crappy.
This is such a monotonous boring ass task and yet programmers haven't really tooled it yet, which is very surprising.

There are some plugins that will eg generate it from docstrings. I’ve had some joy with DRF-Spectacular.
