If a jury declares you innocent the government should get a do over
although hopefully that won't need to happen too often if we have a proper start from the presumption of guilt and make people prove innocence beyond reasonable doubts!

there should be a national contest each year for who can come up with the most unusual punishments for crimes, the more cruel the better
