haha I don't know I've been the only one. I got my first ever Macbook in 2014 and I hated that thing so much.
Inexplicable I guess. the USB-C charging made me so happy.

I love the usb-c universal minimalism. Apple making the wrong call bringing magsafe back.
But I think you will still be able to charge through usb-c?

will that work? oh then I don't care. I believed for some reason that the charging was reverted solely to MagSafe

I know on the Macbook Pros that got magsafe, you can still charge on usb-c, so I assume it's the same.
My dock is cables and network and power all over one usb-c cable, killing that simplicity would be infuriating.
same! I use a TS3Plus and that's what powers my entire setup. But like you said, if the charging option remains the same then I wouldn't care

you can still charge with usb-c. but MagSafe is great (have had both currently have a 16" mbp m1 max)
