Those campuses are private property which has rights we don't have out in the world of reality. We just have dibs on shared public property. There has to be a way to find civility in urban density.

Yes. CA has almost 8x the population of SC, and 38X the homeless population. WA and OR have similar populations and 3x+ homeless rates. It doesn’t get cold here, either. I feel it’s not mere coincidence that here in Charleston, you don’t really see homeless people.
