I was asked at a block party recently "so do you like sports? music? what are your interests?" and have never drawn a bigger blank on what I even do or like I have never before translated any of my stupid interests into normal human conversations

my answer was like "I guess I don't really like sports? um I do like music..." this is one of those things where the actual part of the interaction is on some other non-explicit channel, and you're just supposed to like vibe about how you "love live music" or smth

asked me what kind of music I like and my answer was stupidly specific to like one specific old-timey sub-genre I *really* like next time I need to just say "classic rock" or smth gdi. the beatles. christ
