Things melting down in horrific visceral fashion, right? Increased cancer rates from a coal plant is nerd shit to be worried about. People like action movies not statistics textbooks

What made the meltdowns horrific? There were some fires with relatively insignificant human health impact. I believe the bomb fallout was deliberately linked with power risks. Seems odd that we still can’t intangible this though , maybe same parties in power?

My perception from old media is the bomb was a huge success and we will use nuclear power to build the future of America!
Reading the Wikipedia list of accidents, I think there’s just a lot more than either of us know about. Plus a few big ones that we do know the names of.

The accidents were all pretty trivial compared to coal and chemical stuff. It was/is an orchestrated campaign
