Things melting down in horrific visceral fashion, right? Increased cancer rates from a coal plant is nerd shit to be worried about. People like action movies not statistics textbooks

What made the meltdowns horrific? There were some fires with relatively insignificant human health impact. I believe the bomb fallout was deliberately linked with power risks. Seems odd that we still can’t intangible this though , maybe same parties in power?
