I was raised by an Orthodox Jew & a Jehovas Witness who ran away together & joined one of the culty New Age hippie religions Spent most of my childhood & formative years at church, but have a strong suspicion my church wasn’t like other churches

A subject I always hate talking about. I rarely tell people at the outset of a friendship because I’m afraid they’ll think I’m weird & then after I get to know someone it seems too weird to have kept it from them for all that time I don’t participate anymore, but there’s no

good casual way to bring it up So I just never ever tell. I think this is the real reason why I don’t have many friends. I have plenty leftover from childhood. A lot who also don’t participate in church anymore, but it’s hard to relate to people who didn’t grow up in it
