Can't help but feel that the domestic violence support services I'm dealing with would benefit massively from instilling some fear into the employee culture. They're entirely too relaxed about emailing clients back in 1-3 days. Already meeting particular people who I want fired.

It sucks that emails about the hue of yellow in a SaaS ad get returned within four hours but emails about referrals for a battered woman take two days. And it's not the SaaS company's fault. It's not capitalism's fault. It's the fault of the socialists staffing the shelter.

what does SaaS mean?

Software as a Service, now the most popular business model in tech. Photoshop used to be something you bought for $200, now you rent it for $12/mo or whatever - that's SaaS

tbh its just left to former college socialists who think of coworkers as family and thus allow softness. There's some room for that but they're not finding a happy middle. These people need zendesk and some metrics.

any workplace that deems itself a "family" is an immediate red flag in my book. but yeah my aunt and i frequently volunteer at shelters and many of the resources for those staying at the shelters don't even come from the shelter itself, it's outside people donating $/clothes/food
