I’m disgusted by the santa lie but I love social games, eg April fools and Easter eggs and stuff have a similar flavor in normie land but without the lie, and I’m very pro them

It seems strange, start out your parent child realtionship with a straight up lie to your kid… it’s normal, so it seems okay. But it’s actually kind of fkd up. Don’t think the kid would lose anything but knowing you buy them gifts - maybe slightly trust you more
