I better never catch any of you doing this. Spend those hours building something, not developing the perfect beliefs. Nobody cares about your beliefs. Build something.

I did this as a highly neurotic child, I would recapitulate the same imaginary arguments with myself each night, extremely unhealthy behavior. The only way to escape the mental pattern was to write everything down and literally book that book

BASED. A friend is into community building to the point where their focus is split between building community+activism and being a founder.

Spends an ungodly amount of time ‘growing and evaluating’ their beliefs and tuning them up for extreme optimism

It depends on what you value in life. I believe this is an example that illustrates the difference in human value systems. Some ppl are driven by progress, building for others, etc. Some are driven by internal exploration of the flesh and senses, by conceptual thinking. Both r ok
