I could cut my need for multiple monitors in half if the multiple desktops in Mac OS could be positioned above and below, and not just side to side. I swipe between them all day, and having easy access to four desktops around a main desktop would be 🤌

Ah, yeah, I've tried out gnome 3 a few times over the years, but I've been using xfce since gnome 2 was deprecated. I'd be shocked if there aren't multiple DE's that support this functionality though
