The ratio of effort to results in Crossfit is terrible You'll feel like you're literally going to die four days a week for a year and look only slightly better than when you started

That was not my outcome, but I sure it’s a ton of effort relative to other training modalities, but you get outsized results as well

Did it for four years, watched all kinds of people go through, and honestly the jacked people at crossfit were not jacked from doing crossfit

This. CrossFit is good for building leg and core strength. Maybe grip and traps. Sucks for lats, bis, tris, pecs…basically you can turn your physique into that of a frog with CF. Not the best for hypertrophy

For me it was also just self abuse, I had an easy job and just wanted to be punched in the face Did have some legit spiritual moments of pain after wods. I met God after open workout 15.5
