The ratio of effort to results in Crossfit is terrible

I'll defend crossfit as an on ramp to working out, especially barbell lifting. If you had given me this set of instructions as a 24 year old who never really lifted, I would've continued never lifting. The class and coaching environment helped.
Yeah but much of it is disagreeing and it's hard to know where to start and the free weight room is scary and idk how to properly hold the barbell etc
Crossfit is a safe space to get people using barbells and even doing cleans and snatches. That's valuable
