I haven't posted about M1 Macbooks in a while. Feels like I have a whole new cohort of followers who haven't been lectured to. Buy an M1 Macbook Air. It's like the end of history computer.

Difficult to explain, but I don’t like the tactile response from the keyboard, to the point that extended works makes me feel bad. Not fan of the huge trackpad either - keep hitting it at wrong time while typing. I like to have 2-3 terminal windows and I type fast.

wellll we all have our certain preferences Do the 14/16 inch MBPs use a different key mechanism? I know the keyboard has a black surface underneath so I assume it's a whole different keyboard

Don’t know. Have been thinking of putting together an external keyboard setup. But kind of defeats the point of having such a beautiful portable machine.

yeah there's inevitably compromises when you have a compact all in one package
