I haven't posted about M1 Macbooks in a while. Feels like I have a whole new cohort of followers who haven't been lectured to.
Buy an M1 Macbook Air. It's like the end of history computer.

Hmmm...my m1 air performance is really bad. Crashed all the time, about 4 hour battery life. I may need to take it into apple.

Did you use the migration utility?
I think some people have versions of software made for the intel macs. I had to reinstall some things to get the m1 version.
