Our big tech companies stopped doing interesting things because they stopped taking big bets on product concepts. They don’t seem willing to deal with the fact that PMF evolves. They think, grab a concept and focus on squeezing it. They’re just like old companies. Bad management.

Our big tech companies stopped doing interesting things for the same reason all civilizations end up going down hill if not, more mercifully, collapsing. Activity is taxed rather than liquidation value of net assets, and young men must suck up to them.
