In Korea if you want to get divorced you have to sit down with a judge as a couple and describe your problems. The judge then says come back in four weeks and I will grant the divorce.
Many couples reconcile after clearly stating their problems.
We should do this in America.

There’s other reasons for that. Korean marriage is the worst marriage deal for women on earth.
also the US fertility rate has dramatically declined as divorce has been expanded and made easier so the point isn’t even good
you used to have to go to Nevada to get divorced quickly

The expectation is that you'll become your mother in law's slave. Many women won't get married because of this cultural norm.
