It's incredibly fast, has zero moving parts, I can compile an android and ios app at the same time, the battery life is better than my phone, it doesn't have the stupid touchbar

The butterfly keyboards they replace under warranty. You'll even get a new battery out of the deal, it's actually pretty swell.
But the M1 MBA has no touchbar or butterfly keyboard.

They replaced my 2017 Pro keyboard in January ‘22. If you ask nicely they will do it. Apple is good at this

AFAIK it was 4 years from the day it was bought. I got mine second hand sometime in 2018 but that doesn't renew it obviously.

Pretty sure they’ll replace any butterfly keyboard since it was a big embarrassing recall for them. ymmv after warranty tho

They no longer make them so the bet has already been made? Confused about your point here
My point is I wouldn’t buy a used butterfly keyboard laptop under the assumption they will replace parts after the guaranteed warranty period ends
