what if it’s intended to be transmissive. if i see so many alt buttons bc they’re enormous i too mightbe encouraged to put an image description on my media. u kno?

that's negatively impacted 99% of users experiences for an extremely tenuous hypothesis about how it might for some small share of them improve their utilization of a feature aimed at 1% of users
