Honestly forty licks was my in to the stones when I was a teenager. My dad had like one stones album when I was growing up so they were the classic rock band I was under exposed to, but forty licks made me realize how deep their pool is.

I may know the song, but the rolling stones is one of those bands where I'll know the songs from the radio or whatever else but not know it's the rolling stones.

Same happened to me as a slightly younger teenager with Tom Petty. My dad eventually bought a greatest hits cd and I was like damn I know all these songs, is this really all one dude?
Listen to Let It Bleed a few times if you want a full album. I love it.
