Assembling these little cohorts is something Twitter does badly.
I assume they put them together according to common followers, and what they really should do is assemble them using similar content.

I've done some of these bulk follows before, and I almost always end up with a bunch of people who when I see their tweets I wonder why on Earth I'm following them.
And a man's timeline is his castle, and I can't abide nonsense on my timeline.
