Given demographics, about 5-10% of kids would be born to gay parents. So how exactly do you expect a kindergarten teacher to explain why Jimmy has 2 dads during talk about your family time?

They don’t have to explain it, just say jimmy has two dads. You don’t have to explain to a child the sexual life of their parents.

Have you ever been around kids? They’ll keep asking questions over a long period of time. I mean kindergartners go through a lot of family topics, like pregnancy, babies etc etc. So questions would pop up again “if the baby comes from Mommy, where did Jimmy come from”

Yeah I used to work with kids and it’s literally the easiest shit to change the subject. It’s not the job of people watching six year olds to explain gay sex, why would you think this 😂

Not gay sex no, but gay family structure because their class has a kid with 2 dads? I think conservatives want to prevent normalization of less common families while teachers on the whole strive to make every kid feel normal.

Yeah I can see that. It’s going to be interesting in 10 years or so when a bunch of furries show up as kindergarten teachers when epigenetic modification becomes possible. We’re going to reminisce about the current cohort “at least they were human”
