I hate literally every haircut I get and I hate paying for a product I hate and this leads me once a year to buzz my own hair in the bathroom mirror, which leads me back to paying for haircuts that I hate

After you do this, buzz your hair again after two weeks, but not the top and front

Almost all good male haircuts are a little longer on top and in the front than the back and sides, so, get that going. After two months, when you go to a barber, they'll have something to work with & a margin for error

You should grow your hair out instead. Think about it: You can always go buzzed, but someday you may not be able to pull off long hair.
