ah you called that guy Ukrainian so I assumed he was making a tongue in cheek joke about RU calling Ukrainians nazis which is comical because they’re Jewish. he seems to mean it earnestly, but also seems to be RU or at least pro RU. Why do think he’s Ukrainian

And russians just call all their enemies and everyone they hate nazis because their entire identity was built around beating them (even to a much greater extent than in the US)

like most of world instantly thinks of holocaust when you bring up nazis, as that’s the worst thing they did. Russians don’t care about the holocaust though, they care that nazis killed a lot of russians

BUT I think you'll just find some guys like that in any nationalist military group
The existence of jews in their ranks kinda makes me think antisemitism is not the dominant feature of their ideology

probably right about it not being dominant. i also think it’s just classic human practicality in action: both my enemies enemy is my friend and the fact that Israelis soldiers have a reputation for competence
