It's a very compelling letter. I feel terribly for those who are in this position. I read this and I say there but for the grace of god go I because I have no idea what I'd do in that situation. It's very easy to be an opinionated American.

It's really easy to be outspoken and opinionated (and may it always be that way). But far harder to do that in a society where you can go to jail or even be killed for what you say. This is a reminder of that.
