Last winter we rented an in-law unit in Tahoe off Airbnb. Wife was super sick from being pregnant at the time so her family visited us for a day (they were staying at Squaw).
The host fucking called me and left an angry vm that absolutely no guests were allowed because of covid

Truthfully the value is there for extremely large groups. For just 1-2, Hotel tonight is way better.

Agreed although the rough edges Cohen mentioned are still there. But still the only economical option usually

I’ve literally never booked an Airbnb because I get so annoyed at the price discrepancy between the listed price and then all the fees they add. I’m a 90th+ percentile HotelTonight user tho
