Maybe it’s just because it’s fun to talk to a foreigner but it seems like people in the UK are better socialized than Americans. Casual conversations come much easier.

generalizations never work for america. ive been living in Texas a year and people are so fucking friendly and easy to talk to here. also was good in Virginia where I grew up. NYC in between which is its own beast.
