Had a near spiritual experience at the British Museum. Had no idea every picture in my third grade world history book was taken in one building.

did u go straight to the national museum when u arrived ? i did that once after an overnight flight on my first trip there and it was truly memorable, i had no idea they had so many great paintings and seeing them while sleep deprived somehow accentuated the experience
