NEVER MIND, got my M1 MacBook Air working with four external monitors. Performance seems totally fine too! Added three monitors with this: amazon.com/gp/product/B08 Then plugged this into one of the dock's USB3 ports to get the fourth working: amazon.com/gp/product/B00

Never mind this doesn't work with my monitor setup so I'm gonna have to return RIP Oddly enough the M1 13-inch MBPs can only do one external monitor as well, while the 2018 Intel version can do two I'll buy the 14 inch MBP in a few months twitter.com/growing_daniel…
