I have kept a dream journal in the past and have a record of very many dreams in which I did very dastardly things, from which waking up was an immense relief.
I've bombed gas stations, took down planes, murdered family members and friends, escaped an island prison, and more.*

Funny story: as a teenager, I had “one bad day” that involved vandalism, assault, and worse.
I had never done ANYTHING bad before, yet I kept raising the stakes as the day went on.
Why?
I thought “this must be a dream and if it’s not I’m screwed anyway!”
