i genuinely think we as a society overvalue reading books as a signal of intellect and/or productivity. like its not a negative thing but i dont think its that profound or determinant of anything greater either. my retinas absorb 20k tweets/day u dont see me making lists ab it

It's funny we do this because everybody agrees most books could be blog posts if you sucked out all the fluff that frivolously wastes the readers time
