The wordcel worldview:
1) The words we use affect our attitudes towards things (Sapir-Whorf hypothesis).
2) Society's negative attitudes are the main driver of negative outcomes.
Therefore,
3) Changing the words we use is a powerful tool to fix negative outcomes.
The problem is that this theory is basically wrong, and most problems are hard for practical reasons. Wordcels don't solve problems, they simply rename them every few years. This creates the "euphemism treadmill."
