    Because of UFT members' advocacy, the mayor will now invest more in education, not cut funding or lay off employees. The mayor has promised to hire 2,600 additional District 75, early childhood, K-5 and K-8 educators on top of the 2,000 redeployed staff he previously announced.

    Love how the hostility to Bernie Sanders has translated into hostility to the idea of empowering volunteers to talk to voters. If you wear a mask, door-knocking is fine. Biden didn't do it during the primary either. They think it doesn't matter.
