thesis, antithesis and synthesis. a misunderstanding of evolution, if the inventors of this, were alive today they would have studied up structuralism and its link into memetics memetics, Darwinism applied to the non corporeal, does a better job than engels or hegel etc etc

once culture and thought evolved, we suddenly developed the capacity to perform large swathes of “natural selection” on those who disagree with us. Imagine a revolt within a country where one group commits genocide on another group. These mass killings are largely ideological

In a sense, we could say that these killings are a form of “survival of the fittest”, but in this case it is the ideas that the ruling group deems fit rather than physical fitness. Suddenly, ideology becomes a form of natural selection and because we are the ones with the ideas,

we are now the force that selects them. If you take this line of thinking far enough, you get to some dangerous territory. Who decides which ideas are fit?

hmm this *i think* was more along the lines of ideological warfare in terms of memes memes, like parasites convince hosts to kill others, of which the memes that are ideologically held to them will die out ideological warfare = proxy war between memeshttps://twitter.com/jdconners/status/1027615566318587905 …

communism vs capitalism or inter religious warfare are ideological memetic proxy wars https://twitter.com/jdconners/status/1027618766245384193 … relates to hegel:because his view of structures - outlines change is similiar to evolution of memes me, being a meme maximalist : think hegelian thinking is a subset

ʑŽh. @GRITCULTReplying to @Noahpinionhmm I think my original statement stands, a simplification of the Hegelian dialectical thesis if x + A, then result is Ax so then Ax becomes the resulting status quo, the A then a "new" reaction to that would be y + Ax => Axy, synthesis(new Ax) and antithesis (y)1 reply 0 retweets 1 like
