    I am extremely determined and disciplined when it comes to this. I've been struggling with it for over 1-1/2 years due to a number of setbacks, including the pandemic, but things are finally progressing.

    I am rooting for you...Yes, it will be more painful after surgery but hopefully with determination and discipline (which is not easy), you will conquer this

    It does work. I'm still doing it on my own now because the doctor said it was okay as long as I don't overdo it. It's kind of fun now but I'm sure it will be much more painful after surgery but more rewarding as well. I hope.

    Physical therapy post knee / hip replacements is EXTREMELY helpful and Medicare cuts it so short...big mistake

    Agreed! Post-OP PT is the key. I am also an advocate for more PT for our elderly... even if no surgery. I look at it as a quality of life and mitigation of morbidity. Why do insurance companies balk?
