Fair points but ChestXRays remain fundamentally unchanged in several decades (outside of PACS) and mammograms have the same underlying radiation limited tech. I would posit any changes in benefit will be driven by innovations on the treatment end.

no, not really. Mammography since 2000: film-> 2D digital -> +/-3D + other improvements

Unfortunately it takes years to see whether this pans out or simply results in more false +s and harm. Curious to what extent you envision the dots on the infographic changing from these improvements in mammogram tech. My guess is improvements will be driven by treatment endpic.twitter.com/YSuKaWj5uI
