Myth: Ketamine
ICP? This originated from studies in the late 1970s that showed
ICP w/ketamine use. However, the study was performed in patients with abnormal brain physiology and other studies had very low population size. Newer studies actually show
/no change in ICP.

Some other facts about Ketamine:
Safe for use in patients with increased IOP
Patients getting analgesic dose don't require cardiac monitoring
Can be used in patients with schizophrenia
