I have to admit this was funny the first few times I saw this- but honestly curious at what point does naming a trainee and making them the laughing stock of #medtwitter crosses into bullying? I don’t know the context of this video but it’s not far off from the junk seen on TV..https://twitter.com/responsibleMDs/status/1251641482915786752 …

This isn’t just a joke, is the problem. This is a true liability. If a patient or a family member has a bad outcome and this person is directly involved in the case the attending, institution, system etc are all vulnerable to liability.

i’m guessing his audience is the premed “inspo” crowd. the pretty people that wear scrubs to the library to study ochem/mcat etc. I just hear cheesy music so I don’t know if he’s previously claimed expertise or just trying hard to looking cool with a sim mannequin for likes.

I admit it’s questionable behavior. I just find it ironic that an anonymous “ethics in medicine” account would name and shame the doc in question. It just wouldn’t surprise me if the kid or his infamously shamed friend offed himself because of stuff like this.

Agreed. Just on the cringe scale from tiktok it’s rather mild. Comments are hilarious and make the meme. Just started to feel bad after it popped up for the Nth time. I wouldn’t have said anything if posted from a “memes” account rather than a self proclaimed arbiter of “ethics”
